Local Search Association Recognizes Chem-Dry As Top Category Leader
Robust local marketing efforts that include strategies for print and digital awareness campaigns are a core area of support for Chem-dry franchise owners
The Local Search Association and Socii Inc. have released the first-ever Localized Social Marketing Benchmark Report, and Chem-Dry, our top-ranked floor cleaning franchise, is highlighted as a top category leader for its local social-marketing efforts.

Report studies performance and other metrics
The Benchmark Report is a collaborative research project which examines the top franchise marketing brands on their performance in local social marketing including the localized presence, customer care (in the form of local ratings and reviews) and local community engagement. It was designed to help marketers understand the impact of localized social marketing to their respective businesses while providing good examples of what effective local social marketing looks like to help set a benchmark of success for practicing marketers.
The research studied a total of 163 franchise brands ranked on the Franchise Times Top 100 Largest Franchises List and/or Entrepreneur magazine’s list of the 100 fastest-growing franchise opportunities. The 10 industries covered were food and beverage, hotels, retail (general), business services, auto parts, home services, real estate, education, personal care, and retail (convenience). Each franchise was ranked on a 100-point scale, and scoring was determined by examining a random selection of locations for each brand on top LSM platforms including Google My Business, Facebook and Yelp. As a result, the research evaluated 16,000+ individual locations and a total of more than 50,000 local pages.
