Ed Quinlan, President of Chem-DryEd oversees business support services for Chem-Dry’s franchisees, including training and business coaching programs designed to improve performance and the implementation of software improvements designed to make business easier and more profitable.

Douglas Smith, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development
Doug comes to HRI most recently from the Affinion Group, where he was Senior Vice President of Business Development in their Financial Services division. He started his career with Perk Development Corporation, who at the time was the largest franchisee of Perkins Family Restaurants, as well as both Chilis and Bobby Rubinos locations throughout the Northeast. He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he went to work for The Cheesecake Factory Corporation. Following that, he worked at Edward Don and Company, working closely with several corporate, independent and franchise restaurant operations throughout the Southeast.
Dre Carter, Franchise Development Director Dre comes to us with over 8 years of franchise development experience. He has awarded service-based franchise brands, restaurants, coffee kiosks, and trampoline franchises. Dre and his wife, along with their two dogs, live in Orlando, FL. They enjoy going to the local theme parks and a lot of outdoor sightseeing. Dre also likes playing basketball, roller skating, and trail hiking. He says the most rewarding part of the job is partnering with hardworking families, helping them to realize lifelong dreams of business ownership and entrepreneurship.
Carrie Henegar, Director of Franchise Development
Carrie Henegar joined the Chem-Dry Franchise Development team in early 2023. She and her husband, Josh, have two children and live in Destin, Florida. She joined our organization with many years of sales and sales management experience, most recently in the wireless phone industry, serving as a District Sales Manager in AT&T’s Southeast Region. Her skill set and passion for business development are a great asset to the team.She is excited to partner with potential franchise owners, as they learn more about franchising, and assist them in realizing their dreams of business ownership.

Kati Buckland, New Franchise Success Support ManagerKati was a successful Chem-Dry Franchise Owner for 22 years. Her franchise was a highly awarded, noted as being top performing and engaged with the network. She served on the Chem-Dry Franchise Advisory Council and took her leadership opportunity to assist franchise owners across the world to implement best practices and create systems for performance and accountability. Kati brings her experience and her passion for the Chem-Dry brand and its owners to the team to guide franchisees as they begin their business journey.
