Customers in today’s market have new expectations of cleanliness in their homes and offices. Not only is our proprietary carpet cleaning service in high demand, but our dedicated sanitizing service is creating new revenue streams for our franchisees as well.

Chem-Dry has long been the trusted experts in sanitizing, having used a hospital-grade sanitizer in our cleaning processes for over 25 years. However, we recently introduced a service that just focuses on sanitizing. It can be used in both residential and commercial settings, works across a variety of surfaces, and best of all, can be delivered using the same truck and equipment that we’ve historically used to provide carpet cleaning. The service offers customers the ability to treat every surface in their homes, from carpet, tile, hardwood floors, countertops, as well as high-touch surfaces such as light switches, with a hospital-grade sanitizer that is EPA-registered and can eliminate viruses, bacteria and germs.

Hard Surfaces: Our hospital-grade sanitizer eliminates 99.9% of the bacteria and viruses from hard surfaces such as Tile & Stone, Hardwood & Engineered Wood Floors, Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT) and Granite Countertops.*

Carpets: Our proprietary Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) process removes an average of 98% of common household allergens from carpets and upholstery and 89% of airborne bacteria when a sanitizer is added.*

New Marketing, Training and Support for Sanitizing Service

Chem-Dry has been helping all of our franchise owners adapt to this newly emerging and popular service. Our franchise owners have been provided new training on products and equipment as well as support on how to find business opportunities.

*Based on results of studies conducted by independent laboratories of Chem-Dry’s Hot Carbonating Extraction process. Allergens tested were dog and cat dander and dust mite allergen. All bacteria results include use of sanitizer. Figures are an average across multiple homes.
