Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Franchises Sees Tremendous Growth Potential in Canada
Chem-Dry parent company Harris Research is now directly supporting Canadian franchisees, and plans to leverage its infrastructure to support franchisees and grow the brand
Harris Research Inc. plans to bring a whole lot more Chem-Dry to Canada. Entrepreneur magazine?s top-rated carpet cleaning franchise already had more than 50 franchises spread from the Yukon territory to Nova Scotia, thanks to a partnership between HRI and Chem-Dry Canada Ltd., which has supported franchisees in Canada but is transitioning out of that role. HRI supports more than 2,000 franchises in the United States, and will now support Canadian franchisees as well.
?We see tremendous growth potential for the Chem-Dry brand in Canada,? says Harris Research CEO Dan Tarantin. ?We?re confident we will be able to leverage the infrastructure we?ve built to support our U.S. network to help our Canadian franchise owners grow their businesses and become even more successful, as well as recruit new franchise owners to the system. Together, we plan to expand Chem-Dry?s coverage and bring our deeper cleaning, healthier carpet cleaning process to more homes and businesses across Canada.?
Chem-Dry has proven itself all over the world. In addition to more than 2,000 franchises in the United States, Chem-Dry has more than 1,500 other franchises worldwide, in more than 35 countries, making the company the global leader in carpet and upholstery cleaning.
Its ?hot carbonating extraction? cleaning system is unique in the industry. Chem-Dry uses carbonation to lift dirt and grime from carpet ? billions of bubbles essentially scrub each fiber of carpet, then lift the dirt to the surface where it is vacuumed away. The process results in a deeper, longer-lasting cleaning that is accomplished without harsh detergents and excessive water. Because of the carbonation, Chem-Dry is able to use much less water ? 80% less water than a typical steam cleaner ? which allows carpets to dry much faster, usually in a couple of hours rather than a couple of days. Additionally, Chem-Dry?s primary cleaning solution is natural, green-certified and safe and non-toxic for kids and pets, so it offers home and business owners a healthier choice in cleaning carpets as well as area rugs, upholstery, and even tile and stone.
The Chem-Dry franchise owners in Canada are excited about the partnership.
“The Canadian Chem-Dry franchisees view this transaction and the opportunity to work with the HRI team as a stepping stone for great things to come,? said Ahmad Hamad El-Hamad, Chem-Dry?s largest Canadian operator with 11 franchises. ?We know the high caliber of training and support we?ll receive will help us grow and help Chem-Dry become better known in Canada. Franchisees here are passionate about the brand, confident in our superior carpet cleaning system and committed to delivering an exceptional experience to all of our customers. With that as our foundation, and now the support of HRI and their collective experience and resources, we feel like the sky is the limit for Chem-Dry in Canada.”
