Franchise Gator, a website devoted to franchise industry research and news, has named Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning franchise to its 2015 Top 100 list.

Chem-Dry is the world’s largest carpet cleaning franchise, with more than 3,500 locations that serve 10,000 homes a day. It is Entrepreneur magazine’s top-rated carpet cleaning franchise and one of its Top 10 choices for low-cost, home-based franchises. Our hot carbonating extraction process delivers a faster-drying, deeper, healthier clean that appeals to homeowners and business owners — and the process also can be used to clean tile and stone, upholstery and other surfaces.

“Chem-Dry can be started with as little as $10,000 down, and it can then be grown into a big business,”says Douglas Smith, our Vice President of Franchise Development. “The average Chem-Dry franchisee has more than $250,000 in annual revenue, and the largest franchisees generate more than $2 million in revenue.”

Franchise Gator ranked Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning 73rd overall. The list is based on a formula that takes several variables into account, including financial stability, transparency, engagement, continuity, and sustainability. The online directory evaluated franchise opportunities that fit the mold for its visitors’ searches by investment range and industry.

For the first year of operations, our Quick Start Coaching Department helps new owners adopt Chem-Dry best practices, reinforce the lessons learned in training, calm nerves when they get shaky and assist in setting and achieving benchmarks to ensure success. Our operations staff helps franchisees develop their businesses and meet their goals beyond the one-year mark. One of our most advanced and popular programs is Chem-Dry University, an online training program for technicians and local office staff members that allows them to sharpen their skills and knowledge through interactive games, tests and certifications. We also hold regional mini-conventions, an annual franchisee convention at various venues across the world and other events periodically throughout the year.
